ICT as situating tools

Situating tools is a system that lay or situate the learners in the the environment where it involves a context and the occurance of a situation.
Examples of such system include simulation, virtual reality and multi-user domains.
From different tools, I learnt a lot about google classroom after doing the activity.

 I gained a idea of making anniuncements, assigning task and uploading different material. I get to explore more while creating class quiz like making rubrics, seting questions and allocating marks and due date.

Challenging part of the activity was making promotional video. I could not comprehend what is proma video at first place then i had difficulty with writing the script and recording the video.

Moreover, i came to know more about using GraphCalc app and plotting graph using linear equation and learned many rules about the graph.

Nevertheless, among the vast selection of applications offered by Google is Google Maps, a realiable mapping service providing location information through satelite imagery.

 It is easier to care around and provide an easy to use references, measure a distance and can present info about a wide range of topics; geography and cultural features.

In a nutshell, ICT as situating tools foster my creativity and vusualization skills.

Goggle Docs as co-constructive tools

Goggle Doc, blog and discussion forum are some of the co-constructive tool. Goggle Doc is one of the powerful real-time collaboration and document authoring tool that we have been using to make ict integrated lesson plan.
Goggle doc handles online edits in real time and editors can see changes as other collaborators make them.

I personally feel that Goggle doc is one of the effective tool where we can have make effective discussion. I came to know about the use of goggle docs as and when we are assigned with ict integrated lesson plan where we have to prepare our lesson using goggle doc.
At first, we had taugh time as we are using for the first time. But then as we proceed, exploring through varies websites and watching tutorial videos uploaded by our tutor, we became crystal clear with the goggle doc.

It made me realize that group discussions can be done effectively online and helped me to discuss and ideas with my group members. With the use of goggle goc, teacher can keep track of every individuals' participation in the discussion and he/she can be fair in assessing.

Camtesia studio as a constructive tools

Camtasia Studio is a software that helps us in making our lesson unique. Through the use of this software, we can make a video tutorial and can help in making our lesson effective. One of the best features about Camtasia is we can screen record as well as see ourselves live as we record using the webcam. With the use of Camtasia, we can add voice, music, and image as we preferred. In that way, it provides us with the opportunity to make teaching and learning constructively.
In my entire life, I have never used this software at all. For the first time, I am hearing the name and utilizing it. At first, when I heard about the assignment with the use of that it freaks me out to death. I was totally in fear and I had been all the time worrying about it. I know that there is no chance of escaping it, so I started exploring. 
At first, I ask my friends about it and, I came to know that I have to install it on my laptop. But still, I was not clear. Later since our tutor posted the lesson on Camtasia usage and how to download, it made me crystal clear with how to go about. On top of that, I had been learning from YouTube and finally downloaded it. After opening it, everything seems alien to me and I got big doubt in using it. Then I kept on exploring and questioned my friends about it. I even did trial by doing other than my real assignment. Finally, I got some idea and I realized that it is quite easier than I thought. This is my journey towards the usage of Camtasia and how I have learned to make use of it.
To make some effective video tutorial we have to follow many procedures. Some of the procedures I have used are as follows

1.    Download the software in your laptop

2.      Create a PowerPoint presentation that you want to teach

 

3.      Open the Camtasia studio and open webcam

4.      Then open your PowerPoint presentation in the slide form

5.      Click on record and started your teaching

 

6.      As finishing click on F10 or stop button

 

7.      Click on save and edit

8.      Now use the programs in it and edit the video
9.      Click on import media and bring audio or image that you want to add to your video

10.  Drag them on those tracks and it will be added to your video

 

11.  You can even add some transition using that software

12.  Finally, you can save the video
These are the steps I did use while making a video tutorial and I found the software interesting and useful for me as future teachers.
